One gift

If you can give your son or daughter only one gift,
let it be enthusiasm.

Now there is something I have never actually done with my children. Of course, we live in Los Angeles, so that might explain it a bit.

BTW - I aswered your challenge for my thoughts on discipline...wow was it challenging. My post is called Reaching the Curb. Would love your comments and feedback.

Cheers!

I love these pictures! I was beginning to think kids never went outside anymore, only hunched over video games portraying "reality outside."

Lucky boy! Look at that smile!
I'll bet he slept good from all that fresh air. Cute snow suit too, it makes the snow look almost blue in that light (very "DMD winter scene").
Great words.

love that quote!

And "enthusiastic" is a word often used to describe me. I used to have a button that read "I'm subject to burst of enthusiasm." in fact, I still have it, I just don't wear it on my jean jacket anymore, like I did in high school

It looks like he enjoyed himself. I couldn't get mine to stay in the sled, although she jumped off with enthusiasm!

I discovered your blog not too long ago (via Karen's blog) and I must say that I absolutely love it! Your little guy is adorable and I love your writing style!

Have a great time back at work now that the holidays are over! :)
