It seems I’ve been nominated in two categories for Canadian Blog Awards and even though you might expect me to be all diva-like and say something like “But of course,” the truth is I’ve only been blogging for about five months and I’m really humbled and absolutely thrilled to bits.

Done, and you deserve it. I didn't realize you've only been blogging for five months. How do you get so many readers in so short a time? I've been at it since October and have never had more than seven or eight people comment on a single post. I also can't understand how to use Technorati to save my life, so that could be part of the problem!
