I'm not one who likes to admit weakness.
But I'm sure regular visitors to this site have noticed that photography is not my strong suit.
I wish it were - I'm in awe of the talent I see out there on a daily basis and I have recently resolved to try and step my photo quality up a notch. I will even be interviewing a photographer over at my review blog next week and she'll have some great tips.
And then, of course, there's the fabulous OHMommy. She recently issued a photography challenge over at Classy Chaos, asking photographers to "think outside the box" and spend some time taking pictures of heads.
Yes, that's right, heads.
Lucky for me I have a very cute head upon which to sharpen my photography skills. I took some overhead shots in the park last night and here's the best of them.
Yup, photography is still my weakness, but I'm working on it.
And I do have the cutest subject ever - so there is that.

I'm loving his tongue action!
(My Graham has the same shirt!)
I think the photo is great! The adorable hands, the sweet toddler hair, the tongue! Precious.
When I read your post title I thought I was going to hear all about you playing soccer. Tells you what's going on over there these days....
Great pic!
Lovely pic!
I couldn't help but notice the clean drinking fountain! Have fun with your photography!
Don't ever underrate the value of an adorable subject to detract from any flaws in technique (althought it looks great to me).
It's a great photo. Though I agree,it's hard to go wrong when the subject is exceptional to start with.
I am loving seeing everyone's C3 posts inspired by OhMommy.
That's a fantastically adorable shot. what a cutie pie.
Love the perspective and colors.
I've actually had a blog post draft brimming in my brain about my jealousy over all the wonderful photographic talent out there! I wish I could hone that talent as well.
You totally do have the cutest subject
That hair is straight out of a Pantene commercial! Adorable.
Don't tell anyone but the secret is to take a moment by moment series of photos that will make any paparazzi proud...then you might have one out of 300 that is worth anything! Luckily the subject matter is super cute.
I'm with HRH. You take a ton of pictures and one is the gem.
There's some nice shimmer in this picture.
Very nice shot! I think you are an excellent photographer! And you also have a great subject for your photographs - too cute!
Awwww... I love it.
Love his natural highlights. I would pay anything for those. So cute!
This is a GREAT photo...awesome. Give yourself some credit... you are a Diva of all trades!
I love the perspective of that photo!
You sure DO have a super cute subject to practice on ;)
I think it's a great picture :)
I love toddler hands!!
the little tongue out is too cute!
It's a terrific photo - I love the moment you captured. But I KWYM - I don't have a particularly fabulous camera, nor do I have great photography talents so my pictures are always very average. And I just LOVE his hair. My two year old was still bald just a few short months ago, now he has some nice light whisps.
it's a great pic!! you can always take great pictures of those you love! ;)
my problem isn't getting the pictures...it's downloading them!!
That is a pretty darn cute head :)
You may not have the photography "skills" but in your photo's I can feel your love and THAT is far more important!
Take care
Yvette
Ohhh, that is a great head shot! :)
I love it. Great photo. I am going to have to try OHmommy's tips.
Aw, great photo!
My kids have the hardest time figuring out water fountains...
For a weakness, that sure is a great shot! And he IS pretty darn cute, I'll give you that!!
I think it's a great picture. Your photos are always cute.
And just think, there are WORSE weaknesses...
That is a great shot! Your subject matter is, indeed, primo!
Wonderfully conceived, framed, lighting and exposure are lively. What more could you ask? (And that intent focus by and expression on your "subject"s face ... PRICELESS!) I say well done. And thank you for such a pleasant gift.
Lovingly ...
This is wonderful photo because you are showing the innocence of your son. Keep up the great work.

i think its a great picture :)
Sweet Graham! I love it!
Awwwwww! What a cute pic! Who needs talent when you got a subject that adorable?
Hmmmmm. That sounds like I called you talentless. Which I did not mean to do. You take fine pictures. Great really! And I'm no one to judge anyway.
I will now try to take my foot out of my mouth.
I just was trying to say that your boy is very adorable and that is a cute pic. I will stop now.
I think this is a pretty good photo if you ask me (but you didn't!) I am trying to work on my skills too...
LOVE the shot. I wish I had more time to work on my photography too. Maybe when the kids are older.
Heh. I say that about everything!
That's a great shot!
