They enjoy the present

Children have neither a past nor a future.
Thus they enjoy the present - which seldom happens to us.

Ah, so very true!

I try to remind myself to enjoy the present but it's so hard to do.

I don't know if I agree that kids don't have a past or future (my kids remember things like elephants...and look forward to things that won't occur for months) but they do tend to live in the present more than I do!

It's very true, and it's one of the best things about being a parent, because they sometimes inspire you to be in the present too.

Sometimes it's what saves my day. Their ability to keep me in the moment!

So true; I wish I could figure out a balance for myself so that I could enjoy more of the present!

So true! And if you don't mind, I might use that saying in my kids blog book.

That photo captures summer to a T. Remember when we had no worries, when summer went on forever? Ahh, youth.

Love the photo. Isn't that one reason to have children, to live in the moment.

Being mindful of the moment.
A practice that is a minute by minute issue for me.
