For your viewing pleasure

I’m probably going to be sorry I told you this but…

It turns out my film – Mya’s Normal Night - is already available on the web for your viewing pleasure. Our lead actor, Dylan Ramsey, has it on his web site.

If you really want to see it you can click here:

Before you watch please keep in mind that this was my first attempt, I’m an amateur, Rob and I did the whole thing on our own dime, it’s harder than it looks, sometimes location and lighting and equipment dictate script and…umm…well it’s not exactly Oscar material, okay?

Anyway, enjoy and also check out Dylan in an upcoming episode of Nip/ Tuck airing (in Canada) on March 28th.

Thank you everyone for the wonderful comments on yesterday’s post. Rob and I just sat and read them all together and we’re still smiling. Rob is still in a lot of pain but he is trying to stay upbeat. It helps you know, it really helps, to be reminded that there are real people out there rooting for our family – we appreciate each and every one of you.

Unfortunately, I don't have Cable or Satelite or anything like that, so I can never see new episodes of Nip/Tuck. But I really like what I've seen of it

I am going to watch the link right now.

I am glad you and Rob can smile now. My hubby used to bike and had a major accident days before our wedding and never got back on one. They (biking accidents) are so tramatic... especially when no one helps you out.

First of all, Kelly is being very humble when she explains that it was her first film, and that she's an amateur, and location/lighting and equipment made things a challenge. Her and Rob are amazing, did phenomenal work. If one would really pick at the short film - you would dislike the bartender's accent in the very beginning. Thats pretty much it :)

For their first film, it turned out amazing and I would work with them anytime. Professionals, and caring people - a great asset in the industry.

What they never knew is that many people email me all the time saying that they LOVED Mya's Normal Night. To date, its my most favorite short film (which is why I posted it online) and I am estatically happy with the feedback I have always been getting (most from Europeans). Its a hit over there!

Kelly, email me, or get me your email. Would love to catch up. I hope life has been great to you and Rob. Miss you both.

PS: Yvonne's down here in LA, and she's great! We've hung out several times :)

Cheers!!!

Thanks for sharing your short film. I liked the story. Dark. The Paris setting was perfect. I hate that the parents were so willing to put their daughter in harm's way for their own con. I want the full length feature where it backfires a bit, With the twist and the tables turning full circle.

That was a great short, Kelly; very professionally done! And from Dylan's comments, a great experience all around.
