A tale of two dresses

It was the thinnest of times, it was the thickest of times.

Or something like that.

What I really mean is, during the last week I have acquired two new dresses that couldn't be more different. One is soft and clingy and...slinky. One is bulky and cozy and...yet, still somehow slinky.

My two new dresses are both birthday gifts and couldn't be more different. And yet, I love them equally. How can that be?

Let me tell you.

You'll have to post pictures, of course, to illustrate what you mean.

I have 6 inch heels, flats, and everything in between ... and I love them all equally. That is so a lie. I love the heels way more. But seriously, parents don't have favorite children, right? Embrace the differences!

Two dresses are better than one and distinctly different is all the better :).

Man that sweater dress is so cute. (It is a sweater dress, right, the photo makes it look like it).

And no shame in Sears :)

Those are both beautiful! Happy birthday again. :) And hey, nothing wrong with getting quality clothing at a good price. ;)

They both look great! As for the Sears catalog shopping and your Mom being in a small town...Totally reminds me of where I live! Most of the ladies here do their shopping via the Sears catalog! There are some really nice items on there if you look for them. *sigh* I usually end up driving 2 hrs to the nearest "big" city...or 5-6 hrs to Toronto for a girls' shopping trip! LOL!

Happy Belated Birthday, btw!!
