Paging Art Linkletter

Upon waking yesterday...

Graham: "Uh-oh mama, uh-oh, UH-OH!"
Me: "What is it? What's the matter?"
Graham: "I've got some strange poopies down here."

At dinner last night

Supermodel/ waitress to Graham: "How are you doing, cutie?"
Graham: "I HAVE POOPIES!"

Upon leaving for the babysitter's this morning:

Me: "Are you ready to go sweetie?"
Graham: "Yes mama, I have my belly button and my penis and I'm ready to go!"

Nate is currently obsessed with penises and "chinas". I hear the constant references end... um... well, I was going to say soon, but really, do they ever?

;)

That last one is freaking hilarious!

Evan asked me once if he could take his penis to church. That took me aback for a second and then I told him that of course he could take it with him to church.

Oh the joy of boys! They are so concerned with that thing.

Wait until during quiet time one afternoon he busts out of his room and proclaims, "Mom, there's balls in there!"....yep, more proud moments too come.

Ashley said...

Just posted about poop myself. Oh, the joys.

That's so funny!! Cute boy!
We were visiting some of my mom's co-workers a couple of weeks ago, and wanted Little Elvis to dance or show off for them. He proceeded to show them where his penis was and try his best to get to it! He was determined not to let clothes and a diaper get in the way.

Beck said...

When my Boy was that age, there was never ANY chance of him ever losing track of his penis, since he never let go of it... he grew out of that. Phew.

Eternal Sunshine said...

I love that age - you never know what they will say.

And I almost snorted coffee out my nose - a little warning next time??

:-)

Wait... what else does a man need except for his penis and his belly button?

Ellyn said...

You don't want to be leaving the penis behind. Those men are rather attached to them. I guess it starts early.

Elaine A. said...

That last one TOTALLY cracked me up!!!

Good to know I am not the only one who has a son that likes to talk about his penis! ; )

LaskiGal said...

Phew. Thank goodness he's all there.

What the heck is with the obsession? J's obsession started at birth. And has yet to wane . . .

She said...

Hee Hee. What a cutie pie!

Stomper Girl said...

Well, you obviously would not want to leave your penis or your belly-button behind.

But I'm intrigued to know what was so strange about his poopy. Had he eaten something he shouldn't have?

V. funny.

Zoeyjane said...

Is the belly button some sort of an anchor?

womaninawindow said...

And to think I always packed a travelling bag when mine where smaller and all they needed were their bellies and private places. Huh!

Karen said...

Bwahahaha!!! He's such a man, taking just the essentials. And announcing bodily functions cheerily.

Amy said...

So funny! Could there be such a thing as priorities at this young age?!?

Mental P Mama said...

He sure is all boy!

Jen said...

Hilarious!

Kelli said...

hahahahaha! Kids do say the darndest things. :)

Auds at Barking Mad said...

LOL...ahhh to be able to live so simply and walk out the door knowing that my belly button and, in my case, vagina where all I needed. *lol*

Kyla said...

Hahaha! Don't want to go forgetting that penis somewhere.

Amy @ Milk Breath and Margaritas said...

Oh that last one is too much!!
