Moment of zen

Rob's dad is out of the hospital, but he's not out of the woods.

None of us are.

He is grieving, we are all grieving, struggling not just to put in the days and the weeks, but to possibly wrestle from them just a little bit of happiness and contentment.

It is tough going, but we are trying.

And in the spirit of focusing on the positive, I'd like to present, from last weekend at my parents' house, my own little moment of zen.

Kelly.
I wish you all the best in facing the next few months.
Besides having survived cancer myself twice, I've also lost Mom and Grandma plus a few others to the disease - but you're never prepared for tha blow to your solar plexus.

That looks like a beautiful moment. I hope you have many more just like it to concentrate on. So sorry for the tough times you are going through.

That kind of zen holds all kinds of healing power.

Floating on a raft on the lake is definitely one of my favorite things, especially with at least one of my kids relaxing with me.

Hope you have a few more zen moments to help you cope.

Is it possible that someone bottles that particular band of zen and sells it somewhere? Because I've cleared a big space out in my garage for a huge delivery!

You have to take those moments where you find them. Hope everything works out!
