If only

If only you could go on vacation and return to find that life had miraculously sorted itself out in your absence.

If only a week of sunshine could keep darkness at bay for at least as long.

If only the purest and most beautiful things in life truly had the power to keep sickness and pain and ugliness from hurting the people we love the most.

I need to take a few days off to attend to my responsibilities and to love my family - hope to be back in better form soon.

  2. Yes, if only. But if that were the case, vacations would give people a false sense of hope rather than dealing with the problems at hand. Vacations are a great reminder that we need to get away from all that plagues us each day knowing that. That is what makes them so fun. They aren't reality.

    KEEP BELIEVING

  9. Yeah, geographical escape only works for as long as your gone.

The nice thing is when times are really tough you can pull up one of those memories and maybe they will help pull you through.

    Still praying...

p.s. Do you ever go to Bahia Honda? We went there when we were in Key West for our honeymoon...it's gorgeous!
