Sometimes, when the stress gets me down, the fact that my son is a musical genius makes me feel better.
We recently discovered this video together on Youtube and it has become his favorite, the one he asks for over and over.
He's three...so yeah...I'm thinking musical genius.
And also?
Crazily intuitive about what's going on inside Mommy's head.
That is a very cool video! My son is very much into music too. I want to get him into guitar lessons but have been unsuccessful thus far.
ReplyDeleteAndrew is my musical genius (at least in my eyes) and loves the guitar too. Aren't kids amazing?? Love it.
ReplyDeleteSuch talent! But that's kind of a melancholy song for the inside of your head. Just checking in on you guys.
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful. I love it. Funny enough I posted my sons favourite youtube vid yesterday. Come over and have a look. Compare my sons taste to yours :)

ReplyDeleteAwesome!!!! kgirl - some "Canadian woman" must've rubbed off on my down here in Minnesota! I LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteMy boys all rushed over just now when I played this video. They loved it too, but I think it is because they recognized it from Shrek. They looked at me and said, "Mom! That's from Shrek! Can we watch Shrek?" hehe Little turds.
ReplyDeleteThat was beautiful. I may just have to keep that on a running loop today! Thanks for sharing...
ReplyDeleteMy kid asked to watch Shrek too.

The fact that it is one of the best songs ever is totally cool and intuitive.

ReplyDeletethinking of you and yours often!
Wow, I love her harmonizing to herself! Gorgeous. And the boy on the guitar is just lovely.
ReplyDeleteIsn't the ability of our children to lift our spirits incredible. Love your boy!
Wow. I love how they did this. I have to show this to my kids...
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping your cold is better

I love nothing better than my son and my daughter's boyfriend sitting around strumming their guitars, playing snippets of this and that. Would that we had a vocalist like her in the family!
