They enjoy the present

Children have neither a past nor a future.
Thus they enjoy the present - which seldom happens to us.

    I don't know if I agree that kids don't have a past or future (my kids remember things like elephants...and look forward to things that won't occur for months) but they do tend to live in the present more than I do!

    It's very true, and it's one of the best things about being a parent, because they sometimes inspire you to be in the present too.
