We always rejoice and celebrate the summer solstice (June 21st), as the "longest day" My family being French always mourned it as "The shortest night" I love the French philosophy. David
My family all lives in Waterloo, and they are very eagerly looking forward to the end of winter and snow. I still haven't convinced them to give the west coast a try, but one more winter like that one and I might win!
Our household celebrated our own version of earth day today and we all walked to work! Granted, I'm only 5 blocks, but the others had to hoof it a little farther. The birds are singing, the snow is melting. Bring on the spring!
And after Easter? All bets are off with flip flops. They must be worn.
Great photos!
